Responsibilities

Exciting opportunity for Board Certified Neonatologists to join an expanding group practice on a per diem basis in Houston, Texas. Join our team and enjoy the flexibility of working of working on your terms while making a meaningful impact in neonatal medicine!

  • The group provides in-house coverage at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, a 40-bed, Level-III NICU in Southwest Houston with approximately 5,000 deliveries.
  • Neonatal coverage also extends to several Level-II NICUs at nearby hospitals.
  • The units are supported by a full spectrum of neonatal, sub-speciality, medical and surgical support, including perinatologists.
  • Services include high-frequency ventilation, a busy transport service and neonatal nurse practitioner coverage.

Qualifications
  • Board Certification in Neonatology
  • A minimum of 1 year post-fellowship clinical experience
  • TX Medical License or IMLC license preferred

 

Benefits and Compensation

 

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

 

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.

Holidays: Per Diem team members are not eligible for company holidays. 

Other compensation: Per Diem team members are not eligible for other compensation.
