**Position Overview:**
Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their expanding academic team in Saginaw, MI. This full-time faculty role provides an excellent opportunity to combine clinical care with education, offering flexibility in practice setting and academic engagement.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Provide psychiatric care for children and adolescents in inpatient, outpatient, or hybrid clinical settings

Participate in medical student and psychiatry resident education (~10% effort for junior faculty, with flexibility for experienced educators)

Engage in academic initiatives including research, curriculum development, and mentorship

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across CMU Health s clinical and academic environments

**Candidate Requirements:**

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Fellowship trained in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry

Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan

Controlled Substance license required

Must meet institutional credentialing standards

Experience in medical education or leadership preferred
