Radiation Oncology Locum Opportunity

Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist for a 6-month locum assignment in Pennsylvania.
Join a strong, established team providing cutting-edge cancer care in a hospital system recognized for excellence. This is a great opportunity to cover full-time clinic and call duties while working with a comprehensive support staff.

Position Highlights:

  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • Night Call: 4:00 PM–10:00 PM
  • Saturday and Sunday Call – 8am – 8pm
  • Weekend call mainly 12-hour shift
  • Estimated Shifts/Month: 20
  • Candidates must be comfortable occasionally working solo
  • Provide comprehensive radiation oncology treatment and cancer care services
  • No pediatric cases (adults only)

Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license
  • ACLS certification
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience
  • DEA certification

Facility Details:

  • Trauma Level: II
  • Beds: 458
  • EMR Systems: Aria EMR and Mosaiq
  • Typical Treatments:
    • IMRT, IGRT, SRS, SBRT, RapidArc®, HDR
  • Top Diagnoses: Secondary neoplasms, lung, breast, male genital system, head & neck cancers
  • Average Treatments Per Day: 38–75
